The three-quarter length “Littman Classic Jacket” from Seeland uses a Seetex breathable waterproof membrane to give weather-beating protection while the lightweight, brushed finish outer fabric, mesh body lining and silky sleeve lining are all in 100% polyester.
The jacket features a zip-off hood which is fully lined, has fore and aft (and side to side) volume adjusters, a deep peak, one-hand adjusted, captive end, elasticated draw cords and a Velcro lower front closure.
The full-length 2-way front zip has a back baffle with fleece face protection and “zip garage”, as well as twin storm flaps with press stud closures.
There are twin zipped angled chest pockets containing press stud “hold opens” for the lower front, box construction, cartridge/cargo pockets that have scooped openings with press stud closed pocket flaps. On the face of these cartridge pockets are hand pockets with angled openings.
The lower back of the jacket contains a waterproof lined pocket with a vertical zip pocket opening on the right hip, while the jackets lower lining is also waterproof and non-wicking.
There are waist and hem elasticated drawcords, both with single handed adjustment locks with the hem cord having captive ends.
The jacket has twin internal chest pockets with zip closures, and a phone/radio pocket, on the inside lower right, that has a Velcro-closed flap.
The jacket’s yoke is quilt stitched and the cuffs have Velcro tab adjustment closures. All in all, the Seeland Classic Jacket is a well-featured jacket that is made to Seeland’s normal high standards.
Available in sizes 38” to 47” chest in a subtle 2-tone brown, the Seeland Littman costs around £139.99 would be an excellent choice for wear in early to late spring weather, being lightweight but fully functional and practical field wear.
