The author of this work is a highly experienced sniper and acknowledged expert, and shooters enjoy books written by someone who knows their subject.
His knowledge certainly comes through in the contents of this book and he covers a lot of points. However, there is nothing in this book which a trained military of police sniper will not have been taught in training. Therefore, who is the book intended for? The short answer is those who want to be but can’t be. Serious shooters may read this but will not find anything in it which is new. The author goes into areas that snipers do not normally enter, such as shooting at warships and submarines.
A nice book with good photographs, but it is neither a historical work, nor an instruction manual.
