Klarus XT10 tactical torch

The XT10 is aimed at the tactical user and offers a very bright 470 Lumens beam using a CREE XM-L (T6) LED with a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours which is more than enough for your average CQB confrontation.

It has two switches on the rear of the torch which are both covered by a rubber boot and both have very distinctive shapes and feels making them very easy to distinguish from each other in the pitch dark. The primary switch will give you momentary and constant ‘on’ from ‘off’ where a second touch on the same button will cut the light by half – ideal for saving battery life. The secondary switch will give you instant access to the strobe mode from either ‘on’ or ‘off’ (hold down whilst ‘on’ for strobe). Both buttons are extremely easy to locate and use. I also tried to use this model without a pressure pad in a combat situation and was surprised at how easy this was to operate with the one hand.

I used this torch for 3 hours with no noticeable difference in light and the specs tell me that this should be good for up to 300 hours on low mode using 2 CR123A batteries.
It is quite compact with a length of 143mm, and the weight is just 118g without batteries. A 5-position picatinny/ weaver rail mount is available for weapon mounting.

All in all the XT10 is a valuable addition to any airsofters rig out and being priced at only £62.95 I reckon they will be snapped up asap – this is a quality tactical light at a very reasonable price.
