Megaline’s versatile range of gun cases provides a tough and durable solution for storing and transporting your valuable firearms. There are eight sizes for long guns, with a further seven for pistols, and all share a similar format. The cases are made in Italy and feature a 3mm polypropylene wall thickness with overlapping seams, steel hinges, and multiple latches to lock them securely closed. All the interiors are lined with eggbox foam to protect your firearm, and with so many sizes available, it’s easy to find the right fit, whether your guns are long or short, scoped or unscoped.
The two cases I selected covered the extremes of my rifle collection, starting with the AC95 Bullpup Hard Case, which is ideal for my air rifle. The overall size is 98x35x12cm, with a stippled outer texture for grip and a smooth profile to prevent snagging when sliding it in and out of a vehicle. The handle will accommodate two padlocks for extra security, and there is plenty of space inside for additional accessories you might want to store with the rifle, all held snugly when compressed within the foam.
The second case I chose was the AC82 Double Rifle Hard Case, measuring 118x35x12cm. It will accommodate two slimmer sporting rifles or, more likely, a single rifle fitted with a large scope or night vision devices, which also require ample space and protection. The case shells align accurately when closed, ensuring a quick and secure lockup, and the design allows multiple cases to be stacked without causing excessive compression or unnecessary complication.
