If you collect knives and enjoy having them on show, a nice display case is well worthwhile. Holme and Hadfield make a range of top-quality display cases that are ideal for the knife collector, and they are now available in the UK via EDC Warehouse.

What are the Key Features and Design?

Available in different formats, the cases have a wooden body and a clear acrylic hinged lid covering the display deck. Under the lid, there are interchangeable pillars to hold either watches or small knives securely, so they can be clearly seen but are protected from dust. The model on test has a really nice walnut veneer, but it is also available in black, and the finish is first-class.

Beneath the display deck is a felt-lined drawer that opens and closes smoothly, offering secure storage for additional knives, glasses, keys, and other day-to-day valuables, or anything you’d like to rotate onto the display.

How Versatile and Practical is the Display Case?

The interchangeable pillars fit securely into the display deck, and additional pillars can be purchased separately, so you can change the arrangement if you wish.

The dimensions of the model on test - 15” (L) x 5.5” (W) x 6.25” (H) - mean it will easily fit on most bedside cabinets or coffee tables. It is an ideal place to keep all sorts of bits and to show off your favourite items. If you don’t have a proper man cave, this might just be the best alternative.
