Armtect launches British-built quad gun case

A Hull-based manufacturer has launched a new wheeled gun case capable of transporting four firearms, unveiled for the first time at the British Shooting Show on 13 February.
The Quad Gun Case is the debut product of Armtect, a newly established brand whose team comes from the touring music industry, where designing lightweight, hard-wearing flight cases is bread-and-butter work.
That background has informed the case’s construction: it is handbuilt in Britain, features four lockable catches, fully adjustable stock and barrel blocks, and a lid that can be hung on the rear of the case when open. When open, it can double as a standalone rack.
Dave Hutty, Armtect’s director and the case’s designer, said the product came out of a frustration familiar to many travelling shooters. “I kept hearing the same frustrations from fellow shooters – and feeling them myself – about how awkward it was to travel with multiple guns safely and efficiently,” he said.
“I’ve been using the Quad myself for amateur competitions and it’s made life so much easier, even just travelling to our local club.”
Two years in development, the case is designed to accommodate a wide range of firearms and accessories, and Mr Hutty says bespoke configurations are available for those whose needs fall outside the standard specification.
“Because each case is handbuilt, we can also offer custom variations for shooters who need something outside the standard specification,” he added.
