BRK and Daystate Experience Days 2025 Attract Over 300 Enthusiasts for New Rifle Launch

Over 300 airgun enthusiasts from across the UK gathered at Sandon Hall, Staffordshire, on 3–4 July for the BRK/Daystate Experience Days, which also marked the launch of BRK’s new Ghost Special Edition air rifle.

The two-day celebration, held under blue skies and sunshine, drew more than 150 shooters daily for an immersive experience of target shooting, technical workshops and expert-led presentations. Attendees had rare access to test the complete range of BRK (formerly Brocock) and Daystate air rifles on purpose-built outdoor ranges extending to 120m, with over 10,000 pellets fired in total.

Hands-On Shooting and Expert Coaching

Notable attendees included renowned extreme benchrest shooters Chris Jensen and World Champion Lauren Parsons from Airguns of Arizona, who travelled from the US to provide expert guidance alongside the Airgunners’ Support Pack team, who managed the ranges and offered one-to-one coaching.

Technical presentations by Mat Manning and Rich Saunders covered key topics, including camouflage techniques and gaining landowner permission for pest control shooting. For technically minded visitors, the Sub 12 Airgunners team and engineers from BRK and Daystate provided valuable insights into rifle tuning, servicing and performance optimisation, which drew plenty of questions from attendees.

Demonstrations from the brands’ assembly and testing teams gave visitors a behind-the-scenes look at how these high-performance rifles are made, adding educational value to the experience.

A Celebration of the Airgun Community

Beyond shooting activities, the Experience Days hosted various stands, including pest control training provider Killgerm, specialist tuning and accessories brand PRS, and the Staffordshire Red Squirrel Initiative, whose team raised awareness about invasive grey squirrel threats and offered conservation advice.

Every visitor received generous goodie bags, but the luckiest were Michael and Peter, who won top raffle prizes of a BRK Ghost SE and a Daystate Blackwolf, respectively.

A Resounding Success

“Everyone had a great time, with plenty of guns to shoot and opportunities to chat with experts and fellow airgun enthusiasts,” said Tony Belas of Daystate. “The 2025 event was a resounding success, and I’d like to thank the staff who worked so hard to deliver it, as well as the visitors who came to be part of it.”
