› The DryFire shooting simulator allows you to practise indoors with a sophisticated system that projects targets and a realistic background onto any light-coloured wall. Depending on the model of DryFire, targets either appear as moving laser dots or, with the projection version, as images of clays. For years, DryFire has helped shooters improve their scores by providing intensive practice against highly accurate targets, all in the comfort of your own home and for a fraction of the price of the membership fees, travel, and ammo associated with outdoor shooting. Using your own gun with the provided barrel and trigger additions, it is possible to practise Trap, Skeet, and Sporting disciplines with targets that have the same angular trajectories and speeds as clays outdoors. Select the layout or target you want, stand in front of the wall or screen, take up your shooting position, swing back to your hold point, call “pull” at the built-in microphone, acquire the target, start your swing, allow the correct amount of lead, fire, and follow through exactly as you would outdoors. The system provides accurate feedback to where your shot went, to the nearest fraction of an inch: above, below, ahead, or behind. The wide variety of optional backgrounds adds a new level of realism to practice, including improved animation for broken clays and shot clouds.
