Evolution Eyewear has launched the Falcon RX, a new prescription shooting frame with interchangeable lenses aimed primarily at shooting enthusiasts.

What Features Does the Falcon RX Frame Offer?

The matt black frame uses TR9, a lightweight thermoplastic material noted for its durability and flexibility. The arms are bendable, allowing the fit to be adjusted.

What Lenses Are Included in the Falcon RX Set?

The Falcon RX comes with four polycarbonate lenses in grey, yellow, orange and purple. All are Class 1 optical quality, UV400 rated and rated impact resistant and shatterproof. Lens changes are quick and straightforward, and a flip-up mechanism allows the wearer to look through the prescription insert without removing the glasses entirely.

How Does the Prescription Optical Insert Work?

The prescription optical insert is detachable and can be fitted by most opticians; Evolution also offers this service directly.

While the Falcon RX is aimed squarely at the shooting market, the manufacturer says it is also suited to cycling and golf. The four-lens set is supplied with a soft carry pouch, cleaning cloth and hard case. Price is £59.95.
