2016 UKAHFT ‘The Gathering’ takes place at Furnace Mill

The 2016 United Kingdom Association for Hunter Field Target (UKAHFT) National Series will come to a close at ‘The Gathering’ on 20th November at Furnace Mill in Worcestershire.

Formed in 2002 with the aim of promoting HFT in the UK, the UKAHFT has consisted of a series of 9 qualifying events with the competition culminating in an end of season final known as ‘The Gathering’. ‘The Gathering’ will see shooters from across the UK assemble for the presentation of awards and the 2016 UKAHFT winning title, which is awarded to the contestant with the best 6 scores from all 9 shoots.

UKAHFT Organiser Pete Sparkes commented: “It has been another successful season and shooters are looking forward to The Gathering. The 2017 season dates and venues have already been announced and can be found on the UKAHFT website.” The UKAHFT events consists of:

Round 1 – 24th April 2016 – Quarry Hunters, South Wales Round 2 – 22nd May 2016 – Furnace Mill, Worcestershire Round 3 – 26th June 2016 – Buxted, East Sussex Royal British Legion Poppy Shoot – 10th July 2016 – Misfits HFT Round 4 – 30th July 2016 – MAD, Essex Round 5 – 31st July 2016 – MAD, Essex Round 6 – 21st August 2016 – Rivington Riflemen, Greater Manchester Round 7 – 25th September 2016 – Cambridge HFT, Cambridge Round 8 – 15th October 2016 – Emley Moor, West Yorkshire Round 9 – 16th October 2016 - Emley Moor, West Yorkshire The Gathering – 20th November 2016 – Furnace Mill, Worcestershire
