ALL THE FUN OF THE FAIR!

  • KEMPTON CLASSIC ARMS FAIR REPORT

Well, this turned out nice! The first event was great, the second one better and the third one was even better still. When Pete Binfield first told me about his idea last summer, I really hoped that it would take off and it certainly has and it’s now a ‘fixture’ of the show season.

  • The place was packed on Sunday (25th of March) and there was a fantastic array of things to buy - classic and modern airguns, militaria, such as bayonets, swords, helmets etc., antique, flintlock and percussion guns, as well as deacts and general militaria collectables of all descriptions. It was also possible to buy Section 1 and 2 firearms and ammunition and I can see this being really popular at future events. There were a lot of happy customers in attendance and the £5 entrance fee is a bargain and trade tables affordable.

  • There was a great atmosphere during the day – maybe it was all the gun oil! So, a lot of happy faces all round. I came away with a couple of magazines for my collection, so I was happy and the food’s great as well. I can’t wait for the next one!

  • The dates for 2018 are as follows: July 1st, September 30th & December 9th. There’s easy access off the M3/M25 south of London, with ample free parking. There are mainline trains to Kempton Park station and there are Premier Inn and Travelodges nearby, as well as on and off site ATMs, hot/cold food & drinks.

  • Address: Kempton Park Racecourse Staines Road East, Sunbury-on-Thames TW16 5AQ Gates open from: 09:30 AM - 03:30 PM. Admission: £5 Trade enquires: [email protected]
