BASC appoints new director of operations

BASC has appointed former gamekeeper Steve Bloomfield as the new director of operations. Bloomfield, who worked as a ‘keeper on the Bretby Park Estate in Derbyshire, has spent almost nine years at BASC and has been England director for the last three years. He takes up the new position in January. As well as more than 30 years’ experience in field sports, game management and conservation, Steve is also a keen deer stalker, game shot and picker-up on local shoots
