Royal visit to Lintran

Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal is visiting Lincolnshire on Friday 13 October 2017 and will open the new premises of Lintran K9 Ltd, Brentwood Units, Lincoln Road, Faldingworth , Market Rasen. The Princess Royal’s visit will celebrate 30 years in business for the company who have provided Dog Transit Solutions for many individuals plus the RSPCA, Dogs Trust, Battersea, MOD, Police, Customs, Fire and Rescue and many more. Lintran directors, Frank and Isobel Hopkins said “It’s an honour that Her Royal Highness will visit our premises, and we are thrilled that we can show her what we have achieved over 30 years, working with dogs and many professionals” Lintran provides many transit solutions from a single terrier box to large dogs or many dogs in vans. The dogs welfare is paramount in the company designs, and they have supplied many specialist vehicle fit outs, including dog handler vehicles for the Ministry of Defence for the Falkland Islands, and some award winning pick up kits with equipment storage. Several vehicles will be on display for viewing by The Princess Royal, and she will have the opportunity to meet the staff. The run down site, which was a former village garage, tractor workshop and VW dealership over the years, has been renovated to suit the company needs, and much needed local employment. “It will be a wonderful way to mark the official opening of our premises and allow Her Royal Highness to see what we manufacture here in Lincolnshire” said Isobel.
