UMAREX CONCENTRATES SALES ACTIVITIES IN THE UK

UMAREX GmbH & Co. KG (Umarex) realigns its sales activities in the UK: With effect from 1 May 2018, distribution will be handled exclusively by the company JOHN ROTHERY Wholesale. It will sell the complete product range (except Airsoft) to specialist dealers in the UK. JOHN ROTHERY Wholesale will of course also take over the service for all offi cially imported Umarex products. Umarex Managing Partner Eyck Pfl aumer: “We are very pleased to have found such a committed partner. Together we can serve the UK market even better in future.”

Already at the British Shooting Show in February 2018, Umarex set an example with its own booth of 135 square metres and underlined the importance of the UK market. The new RP5 (CO² -powered repeating pistol and rifl e), which will soon add another highlight to the Umarex range of „Made in Germany“ products, celebrated its premiere there. At this year‘s Midland Game Fair, Umarex will operate a joint booth with JOHN ROTHERY Wholesale.

The realignment of distribution is the fi nal step in Umarex‘s reorganization of activities in the UK. Oliver Lux, Export Director Umarex: „I am glad to say that in this way we can really do justice to the feedback from the specialist trade“. Already in early 2017, Umarex initiated this process with Bevin Lesueur as the new, directly responsible Area Sales Manager UK/Ireland. Since then he has been supporting the distribution partners and the specialist trade in the UK. The dealer support provided by JOHN ROTHERY Wholesale will be further strengthened by its own fi eld service.
