QYS Streamlined Airgun Pellets

With top-flight pellet brands such as Crosman and JSB dominating the outdoor Field Target and spin-off competition disciplines over such an extended period, it was quite a shock to suddenly see a rival disrupt the market. Well, that’s exactly what QYS did a few years back. Qiang Yuan Sports manufactures pellets in China, and it’s no exaggeration to say it has caused quite a stir since their emergence into a hotly contested arena. First came the Domed pellets winning a few Olympic medals along the way. On show here are the later QYS Streamlined pellets, and side by side, there’s very little discernible difference. Just a slightly longer profile overall, and a very fractionally deeper and more pointed head. The same clean, smooth sides remain, and the all-important precise manufacture, close tolerances, and consistency of weight.
The overall profile is also, unsurprisingly, extremely similar to Air Arms Diabolo Field and JSB Exact, as in long-bodied, dome-headed, and waisted. It’s a winning combination and with the QYS Streamlined available in a choice of two weights – 8.48-grain or 9.56-grain – serious shooters, whether FT, HFT, Benchrest, or discerning hunters, now have another top pellet from which to choose.
