RWS Superfield Pellets

It’s hard to believe that the RWS Superfield was introduced around 17 years ago. How time flies! However, this traditional dome-headed, waisted pellet, is now a well-established choice among enthusiasts who seek ultimate down-range accuracy and efficiency. Designed to compete head-on with the topflight ammo from big rival, JSB, it’s no surprise that the Superfield is a dome-headed design and that the weights in both main calibres are nearly identical to the highly successful, Air Arms Diabolo Field and JSB Exact brands. RWS has also cleverly acknowledged that serious shooters demand a choice of head sizes with which to experiment, and to this end, RWS produces the .177 calibre Superfields with a choice of either 4.51mm or 4.52mm. In .22 calibre, you can choose between 5.51mm or 5.52mm. This means that the idiosyncrasies of a particular gun’s barrel can be indulged with a fractionally tighter fitting pellet, for example. A thin skirt and solid head are all part of the profile, and with the consistency of weight another key selling point, the Superfield is a definite for any top-flight competition pellet shortlist.
