Klean Kanteen first made its mark a decade ago by offering a safe, healthy alternative to plastic or aluminium lined liquid containers. This breakthrough launch soon became a quickly expanding range of drinking vessels deemed as ‘safe, healthy, lightweight, reusable bottles free of Bisphenol A (BPA) and other toxic substances.’ Amongst this very comprehensive range of flasks, they also had a small selection of standard design food canisters. Although superb products in their own right, they’ve now been discontinued due to the clever upgrades that the company has decided to give them.

They’re available in three sizes and manufactured using safe, durable, highquality materials. The body is made of 18/8 food-grade stainless steel and the electropolished interiors don’t retain or impart flavours. They are leak-proof and shatterproof, plus the company’s Climate Lock double-wall vacuum insulation system is the major updated feature that makes them even more effective.

The company now use their superior TK Pro Closure internal thread design for the lids – a revolutionary design of smooth screw fitting that increases thermal performance. The lid locks securely into place with just a quarter of a turn and also features a useful swivel loop. They have also installed the canisters with a newly designed bowl-shaped base, which further helps with thermal performance and makes cleaning far easier. Furthermore, their widemouth design makes for easy filling and eating, plus all are well priced with a brushed stainless finish.
