Azero knives are manufactured in Spain and have just released the latest additions to their product range, the Azero UK legal carry series. This is available in three handle materials: white PMMA, black PMMA or olive wood, and the 6cm, non-locking 14C28 Sandvik steel blade makes it ideal for every day carry, as it is UK-legal and extremely sharp straight from the box.
These knives incredibly well-finished and the blade action moves beautifully. Unlike some non-locking folders, these knives feel safe and secure in the hand thanks to their very positive blade spring.
Each knife is supplied with its own suede pouch and presentation box which makes it an ideal gift; even if it is one of those ‘To me, from me’ presents!
The 14C28 Sandvik steel has a hardness range of 55-62 HRC. It is the perfect candidate for a knife blade as its qualities make it arguably better for the job than the 12C27 Sandvik. Excellent edge-retention, high-hardness and superb corrosion resistance; what’s not to like?
The Handle is PMMA (Polymethyl Methacrylate, to give it its full title) which is a strong, lightweight synthetic material with an extremely high impact- resistance. The other handle option is Olive wood which has been used in traditional knife handles for many years. It has a fantastic dark grain which gives a stylish look; it is also a very hard, dense wood which enables it to polish up very well and makes it very resistant to staining and abrasion.
The Azero UK legal carry range cost just £39.95 each (including UK recorded delivery). To order or for more information visit www.sportingcutlery. co.uk or email sales@stsnorthwales. co.uk, or phone 01492 640664.
