Leatherman Ratchet Driver

Leatherman’s multi-tools include an impressive number of tools and gadgets, with some well thought out ‘add-ons’ also available, and it seemed they had everything covered but maybe they didn’t, until now!

Multi-tools have many applications but, despite being well designed, they are not the best when it comes to doing a lot of repetitive work, like tightening multiple screws. Leatherman’s Ratchet Driver improves the ease-of-use of their tools with a three-way ratcheting system, that reduces the amount of wrist movement needed to utilise the bit driver. With forward, reverse and locked positions as well as a very strong construction, the ratchet driver allows you to apply a lot of torque to stuck screws and nuts, without having to adjust your grip. The magnetic bit holder is compatible with Leatherman’s proprietary bits and all standard ¼” bits and fits many of their multi-tools.

The ratchet driver is heavily built, very strong and it works surprisingly well is simple, with a quick twist of the collar on the body of the driver, and the locked position holds completely firm, no matter how much pressure you apply.

This is a great item and, although it is not cheap, it is certainly worth having.
