KL: A History of the Nazi Death Camps.

KL: A History of the Nazi Death Camps.

story continues below...

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the death camps and the end of WWII, which brought about an end to the terrible suffering of the inmates. Today several leading specialist travel companies offer tours to some of these camps whose names are permanently linked with human suffering. Visiting these camps is not done out of morbid curiosity, but as a way of understanding, due to the millions of lives involved. To visit a battlefield is one thing but these camps still confound and this book sets out to explain the how, what, why and who went into organising them.

This is a history of human tragedy which condemned one culture and damned the perpetrators who had no excuse for their actions. There have been many books written on the subject but this outweighs them all. If you should feel the need to visit a holocaust site read this book first and take it with you as a reference work.
