Viper Tactical Weapons Carrier

Viper are the Tactical division of Thatchreed Ltd and they design kit for the military and police, but their Tactical Weapons Carrier offer a lot for the sports shooter too. It measures 46 X 13 X 3” and is manufactured from black, 600D Polyester. The main compartment is protected by closed-cell foam; the lined interior has a generous butt sleeve at one end and a muzzle protector at the other. Further load security is aided by wide Velcro straps. This arrangement does shave an inch or so off internal length but keeps everything in place. The 2” spine of the case incorporates a slot for a cleaning rod, which is always useful.

It will handle rifles up to 42” in overall length including a moderator and is deep enough to accommodate full stocks and big scopes etc. It closes using heavy-duty, full-length double zips with two, exterior, adjustable, QD compression straps set either side of the Velcro-fastened, wrap-around carry handles. Sensibly it has also been designed to fold out flat and provides a practical and comfortable shooting mat.

The main external pocket measures 29 X 12 X 1 ¼” with heavy-duty, double zip fastening. Inside are two modular plates should you wish to fit smaller pouches to keep individual items easily to hand. On the outside of this are three detachable pouches with QD buckles and Velcro flaps. All are designed to fit onto its full (military standard) length MOLLE modular system plate, so can be replaced with any other pouch or holders in the Viper range. They measure 6 X 9” (outers) and 8 X 9” (middle).

On the opposite side is a fully adjustable, non-detachable shoulder harness, so you can back pack your load without any hassle! In use with a full load the weight is distributed lower, meaning less strain on the back muscles.
