Norgas Clenzoil Swabit Cleaning Kit

Drawing directly from space technology and the latest developments in cutting edge medical procedure, UK Bernardelli importers Norgas Cartridges have become the sole agents and distributors for the Swabit and Clenzoil range of products.

Originally developed for both the space industry and hospital operating theatres, the Swab-it Bore-Tips are produced from a unique foam material that leaves no trace of its presence.

This means no fine fibres or lint, instead a perfectly clean surface. From the shooter’s perspective this means that by soaking the top third in the cleansing and protective Clenzoil and pushing the Swab-it through the barrel, any and all residue and fouling is removed by two or three sweeps of the Bore-Tip. You can then reapply a small coating of protective oil or swab the inner bore dry, the tips able to do the both by simply changing from one tip to another.

And for hard to remove residue, the kit also comes complete with two bronze brushes, one stiff, one soft and flexible, both of which work perfectly alongside the Swab-it tips. The use of all three along with the Clenzoil ensures all lead and plastic residue is eradicated.

Brush Up

Combined in a bespoke walnut case, the kit contains three Swabit tips, a neat three-piece cleaning rod, a small bottle of Clenzoil, the aforementioned bronze brushes, a small brass thread adaptor and instructions for use. And unlike many other gun cleaning products, the tips can be used again and again, a quick was in warm soapy water restoring them to as new.

Available in 12g and 20g, along with a whole variety of rifle calibres when you need to get to those hard to clean places such as the lockwork and trigger mechanism, there is also an additional set of nine Swab-it tips in a variation of sizes and shapes. The thing that sets the Swab-it tips apart is that they do exactly as their manufacturers claim, the cleansing effect they have having to be seen to be believed.
