Ogdens Cambridge Gun Slip & Cartridge Bag

Just like the rest of a shooters equipment, a good shotgun slip is very important. At the end of the day it is what you put your shotgun in to protect it. Whether this is from the elements, getting bashed about or scratched while it is being transported in a vehicle or you may simply want to make carrying your gun more comfortable whilst walking to your peg. The Shotgun Slip

It does not take long to see that the shotgun slip certainly meets the expected criteria for the protection of anybody’s shotgun. The slip is available for two gun barrel lengths of 28”/30” or 30”/32” with a really decent and chunky zip fastening, there is also a flap closure version available as well.

The quality of the workmanship is excellent and the materials are of a high quality. The specifications speak for themselves; the shotgun slip is made with an outer layer of heavy duty gunbag canvas, trimmed with 3mm bridal leather. There second ‘skin’ is a full 18mm layer of padding finished with a cossetting ‘fleece’ liner. The slip has a leather handgrip and adjustable strap, a hand stitched leather block end and brass fittings throughout.  I think that will just about do the trick!

The Cartridge Bag:

With a capacity of 100 to 125 cartridges, this well designed Cambridge cartridge bag has a lined interior and a full leather lid that is hinged at the back to stop the leather from getting worn out over the years. The bags lid includes a 2 inch leather strap which is fully adjustable with buckle fastening on the front as well as a shoulder strap which is adjustable.  The whole product matches the quality of the shotgun slip and compliments it nicely.
