Anglo Arms Game Bag

This game bag is a fairly new addition to the Anglo Arms range from Sporting Wholesale and is already proving popular.
It comes in a well-known camouflage pattern known as ‘Smokey Branch’ which serves its purpose very well. The bag itself immediately comes across as well-made and the 600 D PVC Polyester is of a decent thickness, and I have no doubt it will offer decent durability. The quality of the stitching is good – important on these types of bag, as the weight carried can quickly add up exposing any weaknesses in its construction.
Measuring in at 42x12x 29cm and including a mesh pocket on the front, there is ample space for most shooters and their gear. Importantly, the inside comes lined in order to make it wipe clean and suitable to carry shot game.
As you would expect with any game bag there is an adjustable shoulder strap. The lid (which is hinged) is secured at the front with twin flap straps. In the past I have come across similar bags with cheap buckles that break easily and I am pleased to report that this does not fall into this category. There is an interesting additional feature which comes in the form of a cartridge belt sown into the interior lining. With a capacity of 12 cartridges, I found this useful for carrying a few specific cartridges, such as magnum loads.
Not much is needed from a game bag, it just needs to be made to last and be good value. This one does just that, but in addition is well thought out and comes with some nice features such as the lining and cartridge belt. If you are in the market for one I would recommend a look.
