Jack Pyke Hide Poles, Seat and Camo Netting

Jack Pyke Hide Poles, Seat and Camo Netting

Jack Pyke’s Super Hide Poles come as a set of four, supplied in a neat 600D Cordura carry bag with an adjustable shoulder strap, reinforced base, plus ‘fold over’ top flap with quick release ABS buckle fastener. The kit only weighs 3.5kg and the bags are available in English Oak Evolution (EVO) or Green.

The poles are treated with a rust preventative and can be raised higher than most others, which is a great feature. The two-piece, strong, hollow steel poles extend telescopically from the lowest height (excluding the 8 ½” bottom twin spikes) of 38” to a fully deployed height of approximately 73”. The base section of all the poles features twin spikes and what the company term a ‘stayrite’ foot bar. This refers to the thicker main spike that extends from the pole, while the other is welded and braced at a right angle to travel 5 ¼” horizontally, then is bent sharply downwards at 90° to form a stabilising full metal ground spike. The so-termed stayrite top section (the metal bar in-between) obviously also doubles up as the kick/ tread plate. The height of the pole itself is adjusted and locked via easy grip ABS thumbscrews, plus at the top, there are ABS net hooks.

Take a seat

The Jack Pyke Hide Seat measures 48cm high, with a top diameter of 30cm and a base diameter of 26cm. This means it will easily fit into the company’s Maxi- Decoy Bag and/or their Standard Decoy Bag. The 24-litre capacity ‘bucket’ is ideal for storage and the height of the seat ensures that when seated, your knees aren’t continually overand- uncomfortably bent.

The swivel lid aids movement and includes some thick dense foam covered in 600D Cordura, resulting in it being comfortable, plus hard-wearing. It is available with a Green or English Oak EVO camo lid.

Camo options

JP offers a wide range Camo Nets that cover virtually all hunting situations and seasons. A popular choice is the Stealth Camo Net which features a two-layer system with a 3D English Oak camo front and a brown coloured backing mesh.

The highly effective nylonbased Clearview Hide Net is extremely light and easy to transport. It’s another popular choice, especially for summer use in English Woodland or Autumn use in English Oak. Alternatively, when crops are harvested, there’s the self- explanatory Stubble and Reed Net, which is a leaf effect, sand and khaki colour.

Other options include the strong, tearproof semitranslucent green lightweight hide net (rated approximately 20% lighter than most other comparable size nets), the dual mesh build Camo Blind net, an old school pigeon net and the very basic olive green camo net. Some can be purchased in larger sizes and prices will vary accordingly.
