Cluson HL12FC, HL10 & HL13 Headlamps

These new models seem to incorporate all the features a hunter requires. The Super- Bright Head-A-Light (HL12FC) is capable of producing up to 185 lumens of white light, has an adjustable focus control and with the headbands adjusted feels very secure. The layout shows four CREE LED’s, a white 1-watt LED in the centre with three more smaller LEDs over the top running from left to right in blue, red and green.

Seven Functions

The versatile HL12FC model offers seven functions including a rear red light for added visibility independently switched so it can be isolated and only ‘lit’ for emergencies. It runs from 3 X AA batteries (supplied) giving a continuous run time of up to 32 hours. This changes from main beam 16 hours and fl ashing mode 48 hours. The smaller coloured lights give around 150 hours run time. All modes are accessed by a single, rubber-covered switch set atop the lamp. The lamp head can also be tilted to suit what you are doing. Weighing only 200g with batteries installed you hardly know you’re wearing it!

100-Lumen

The rechargeable (HL10) headlight has low power consumption, a run time of approximately 3-9 hours depending on the mode selected. It also has a rapid recharge time of 6 hours. Specific run time is 3 hours at 100%, 6 hours at 50% and 9 hours at 25% brightness. Emergency fl ashing mode offers 7 hours.

The high quality LED CREE XP-C bulb can put out a 100 Lumen beam that can reach out to 100 metres on full power, from the 4.8v Ni-MH rechargeable battery. The head tilts down 90° and it has three brightness settings. Weighing 228g, it comes with mains charger giving a rapid recharge and like all kits is supplied with adjustable head strap.

Super Spot

The Rechargeable Head-A-Light Super Spot (HL13) is termed as a ‘different style of headlight’ and rightly so. It’s reminiscent of their gun-mounted Midi Gun Light but without the scope clamp. In other words a basic ‘tilting head’ design featuring a concentrated spot beam from the single, focused LED which gives an incredible 150m range. It’s rechargeable with a run time of up to 18 hours on high beam, which increases to 24 hours on low. All powered by 2 X Li ion 18650 batteries housed in the rear casing. It comes with a mains charger, battery pack and fully adjustable elasticated head-strap. It weighs a mere 220g. Filters are available in red, green and amber.
