RWS Gun Oil

First comes the RWS Gun Cleaner which comes in a neat 200ml size spray can. Designed with a ‘two in one’ action, it is intended for all types of gun, and apparently contains safe solvents. These remove fouling from your gun without degreasing, and also leave a micro layer of gun oil; helping to protect your gun from corrosion. Since this product has been specifically designed for cleaning guns, the manufacturers state that it won’t affect the finish of the woodwork. This product contains VP90 corrosion inhibitor, and the fact that it is made in England by the World renowned company of Napier of London, should give confidence.

Next up is RWS Gun Oil which is designed to penetrate all areas of your gun, completely protecting all the metal parts from corrosion. An important feature is that the oil will not break down when subjected to extreme temperature, and again, contains VP90 corrosion inhibitor. VP90 incidentally, has high surface adhesion properties, so it should stay put; even leaving traces when the vapour evaporates. By doing this, it ensures that even the most inaccessible parts of the gun get maximum protection.
