Sportsmatch Scope Spirit Level Kits

The level can swing clockwise or anticlockwise, in and out of position The original SP1 (1”) and SP2 (30mm) levels were mounted across the top of Sportsmatch mounts. The only problem was that the height and ‘bridge’ position of the mount design meant it was not always possible or practical to keep bobbing your head up to look at the bubble.

story continues below...

The SP4 Spirit ‘Side Mounted’ level kit helps overcome this problem as it is screwed into the open threads on the side of Sportsmatch base mount. This works but the level is fixed and therefore always sticking out, although it can be removed when stowing the rifle.

The SP3 ‘Swing-Out’ spirit level is a far better design, as it can be deployed or stowed away easily. Consisting of a base screw with notches across the top centre for securing down, this acts as a pivot post and replacement cradle grub screw, so it will fit all 1” and 30mm mounts. One end of the SP3 is held on a 3/8” long hollow pillar with an internal spring. Using the longer hex head screw supplied, you then screw it down through the spring and nip up to secure, but don’t over-tighten so the spring allows it to be folded out when required. When not needed, bring it back to lie flush and out of harm’s way.

When the SP3 is deployed I only need to glance to the right and I know no ‘cant’ error will be effecting the shot, no matter how awkward the angle of fire is.
