story continues below...

From the diminutive Ozark LT-F250 to the seriously robust KingQuad LT-A750XP, Suzuki produces a quad for all needs, applications and occasions. All 4 – strokes and shaft driven with a mixture of single or double overhead cams and either fuel injection or what’s referred to as Mikuni BS29SS, electric and pull starters with the larger engine models boasting four valves, transmission varies between two – ratio automatic with reverse, variable auto and selectable 2 and 4x4 with diff locks.

Suspension varies independent with double wishbones with oil damping and a five – way adjustable system on the larger models with swing arm coil springing on the front of the smaller engined examples. Front and rear rack capacity is universal across the entire model range at 30kg and 60kg with a towing capacity of 450kg all apart from the smaller Ozark that’s reduced to 330kg. Similarly, whilst front braking is hydraulically operated disc across all models, certain of the KingQuads and Ozark utilise mechanical drum on the rear. All well proven with a full range of accessories that can be tailored to each user’s needs, like their motorbikes, Suzuki’s quads are well proven workhorses irrespective of model or engine size.
