Rust is the major problem on steel and perceived as the ENEMY by all shooters. Enter the new Webley & Scott cleaning range with Zerust, which is corrosion inhibitor used in many industries. It offers protection to a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals while the VCI layer (Viscous Corrosion Inhibitor) does not affect electrical, optical or mechanical surface properties.

So what have we got? VCI 3-4-1 Oil, Wipes and a nano-VAPOR CAPSULE. The latter comes in an air-tight pack. The oil comes in a 400ml aerosol spray and lubricates, cleans and prevents rust and corrosion. Use sparingly and apply to a lint-free cloth it leaves a slight film that should last until your next trip out.

The Wipes are self-explanatory and provide the same benefits when used but useful for a ‘wipe-down’ rather than full clean. Being impregnated with the special ‘oil,’ you can also cut them into patches to use with a pull thru’. The nanoVapour capsule when exposed to the air slowly emits an invisible vapour to surround your precious guns to block out moisture in any atmosphere, especially useful in enclosed spaces like gun cabinets. This air defence is non-toxic and odourless; it’s claimed one capsule even out of a cabinet can protect a radius of 2ft for 12 months.
