Akkar launches the most eye-catching .410 on the market: the Triple Crown

Turkish gunmaker Akkar has announced that a .410 gauge will be joining its popular line of triple barrelled shotguns. Exclusively distributed in the UK by Edgar Brothers, the Triple Crown series, an eye-catching pyramidal shotgun is already available in 12-, 20- and 28-bore. Like the others in the series, the new .410 model has three 28in barrels. The barrels are arranged to offer the optimum sight plane, with two side-by-side and one on the top, making it very easy to shoot. The fibre-optic sight and 7mm top-rib also aid in achieving a good sight picture.

The Triple Crown is extremely reliable thanks to all three barrels being fired by a single mechanically operated trigger in order of left, right and top. Each barrel has Rem thread chokes and comes with 5 chokes (F, IM, M, IC & C). Featuring extractors rather than ejectors, the Triple Crown has a manual safety and weighs just 3.3kg thanks to the reduced receiver height and a shorter frame than used on traditional two-barrelled guns.
