1. Harris Bi-pods have been around for donkeys years and represent the go to bi-pod for many shooters. This is because they are built to last and there are loads of variations to choose from: long legs, short legs, tilt and swivel etc etc. The clever mechanism allows them to attach to any standard QD sling stud. They are priced from £80 to £140
2. The Primos gen 2 trigger sticks (tripod) are a real game changer in my eyes and I just so happen to have bought some for myself! They are incredibly versatile, allowing massive amounts of adjustment simply by depressing a trigger and moving them about. This can all be done silently with one hand while the other supports your rifle. They even work on uneven ground! Prices start at around £115
4. Caldwell Deadshot Shooting Bags are a very popular method of supporting a rifle no matter where you are. You can fill them with what you like, a dense sand like zirkon would work well. It depends how far you have to carry them!
5. The Rolls Royce of bi-pods? The Javelin weighs in at just 133grams, this is put in perspective by the new iphone which weighs 130grams. So its pretty light! The system in connected to the rifle via a magnet and allows the easy transference from one rifle to another. It of course can cant and swivel. It comes at a price though...........from £175 including FREE shipping to Europe and America.
