New Optics Viewing Area at South Yorkshire Shooting Show

  • Looking to buy a new scope, binoculars, rangefinder, night vision or thermal imaging equipment? Wait until the end of September and test the latest models over a mile range at this years’ South Yorkshire Shooting Show & Game Fair – Saturday 30th Sept and Sunday 1st October. For this year’s South Yorkshire based Shooting Show, organiser, Richard Brook, is introducing something very special. Utilising the grandstand at the show’s racecourse venue, he has created an outdoor, under-cover, elevated ‘Optics Viewing Area’, which provides views for over a mile and has wheelchair access. Richard told us, “With views for over a mile, people can really push the capabilities of the optics. A distance guide will be provided, so visitors will know how far they are looking with the equipment”. Visitors are invited to test the latest optical equipment from Zeiss, Leica, MTC, Hawke, Minox, Swarovski, Vortex, Yukon, Pulsar and more. As well as being able to test the day optics, show sponsor Night Master is holding two night vision and thermal imaging demonstration evenings on the Friday (29th Sept.) and Saturday (30th Sept.). All the latest equipment from Pulsar, Yukon and Cobra will be there for visitors to put to the test at the Optics Viewing Area. Both evenings start at 7:30pm and entry is free to show ticket holders. Refreshments will be provided. Contact Night Master on 01535 611688 or find us on Facebook (@NightMasterUK) for more information. This year’s South Yorkshire Shooting Show does not clash with the start of the shooting season and it will be bigger and better, with more trade stands, shows to watch and better shooting competitions. The clay line competition is offering a shotgun to be won on each day and there is also indoor and outdoor airgun ranges and opportunities to ‘try before you buy’ on shotguns and air rifles.
