Custom Targets are perhaps best known for their neat, multi-kill-zone precision targets that are cut from board. However, their range of accessories also includes the highly practical Pellet Keeper - dedicated tins, designed to store and protect our delicate pellets.
Any shooter that takes their sports seriously will understand the value of looking after quality ammunition, and let’s face it, the small lead pellet on which we rely is fairly easily damaged if we don’t take care. The Custom Targets Pellet Keeper tins were originally designed for competition shooters using match-grade pellets, who wanted safe, secure storage throughout a tournament. Yet according to the manufacturer, this well-designed product has also become popular with hunters, as it offers safe and all importantly, silent storage. Each tin contains five layers of quality neoprene in varying depths to suit different pellet sizes, with the idea that a pellet is gently pushed into each aperture. The pellet is held snugly and there’s a backing layer behind and in between the layers. The neoprene forms two layers of stored pellets, and with a padded lid, protection of our treasured cargo is assured.
The tins are calibre specific and are available from Custom Targets directly and some select dealers. A .177 tin holds 216 pellets, .22 - 176 pellets and .25 - 154 pellets.
