Lee Pacesetter 3-Die Set

Lee Precision are famous for their cost effective reloading equipment and a good example of this are their PaceSetter dies and here we have a 3-die set for 6.5x55 Swedish. But it could be pretty much any calibre as the choice is huge. One of Lee’s trademark features is the rubber O-Ring integral to the lock nut, which ensures the die body has a degree of float, enabling it to self-align during the operating cycle. The line up includes a full-length sizer/ de-capper, easy adjust, full-length bullet seater and a factory crimp unit. This consists of a four-finger collet, which the loaded round is run up into and pressure on the shoulder causes the collets to contract the neck and crimp the mouth. It’s adjustable so start light and work up. The end result is a reduced and more consistent extreme velocity spread, which aids performance.

If that’s not enough; Lee also includes a shell holder, unlike most other manufactures, and their dipper powder measure system. It looks primitive but works very well, add in reloading data in all the bullet weights applicable to the particular calibre. Not bad for under £30!
