Jack Pykes Wellington Footwear

Jack Pyke has had Wellington boots in their range for a long time. Now they have decided to revamp it a little with two new designs. Called the Fieldman and Countryman the difference is mainly to the upper as both have what JP term an ‘Off Track’ rubber sole. This features an integral toe grip and kick heel making them comfortable and very ‘grippy’ underfoot. They also both measure 16 ½” in height.

The Fieldman fasten via a relatively small side gusset with top strap and buckle, have 3mm of neoprene lining and will suit the more traditional Wellie wearer. Alternatively, The Countryman offers the same specification including the inner lining, but have a full length waterproof side gusset with heavy duty YKK side zip fastening.

The design of these boots is when the anti-rust heavy-duty zip is pulled up, the sides cleverly follow it up, covering and protecting it from the elements including mud and dirt that can clog this type of side fastener on other boots.

Both these versions of boot are well made, practical and designed to be flexible yet supportive with strong ‘Off Track’ soles for the hunter who has that venture anywhere urge…
