The Pentagon Reiner Soft Shell Jacket is a highly capable design. Envisaged as a mild-cold climate garment it gives the user options. It is not too warm and breathes well when worn in conjunction with a t-shirt or base layer, while on the move, yet can be very cosy when used with an additional fleece on the colder days. It is available in grindle green (on test), black or coyote and the outer layer is constructed of breathable Storm Tex membrane which provides a decent level of protection from the elements. This works well with the internal, Super fine Grid-Tech fleece lining, providing exceptional thermal protection and moisture management. Temperature can be controlled by zipped, underarm vents. It has a high collar which can be adjusted to keep the draft out by an elastic cord and lock. There is a fleece chin guard to stop the zip rubbing on your face, making it even more comfortable. The hem is adjustable using an elastic cord, cuffs are Velcro-adjustable! There are a selection of functional pockets, which include a single chest pocket with a wiring eyelet so you can feed headphones through. Two on the left sleeve, one of which includes a Velcro panel patch. Plus two traditional hand warmer types as well as two large inners.
