Propper BA Softshell Jacket

In 1967, Propper won the contract to manufacture the iconic white Dixie Cup hats for the US Navy and, since then, they have manufactured over 120 million garments. With their tactical clothing, the focus is on precision, durability, comfort, and style. The BA Softshell Jacket is designed as the perfect outer layer for speed and function, with storage for all the users gear. It has an athletic cut for a better fit and inside is a micro-fleece lining that is complimented with an outer, lightweight, water-resistant shell fabric. At the front, is a full-length, 2-way YKK zip which includes a chin guard. There are small slide fastened pouches on the biceps and wrist areas of both arms, and a Velcro badge section on the right. The large breast pocket features magnetic closure making it practical and quiet.

On the opposite side is a zipfastened pocket which includes a pull-out badge panel for attaching ID. The rear waistline includes a zip at each side, giving access to a large pouch, extending the entire width of the back. There are hand pockets at the front, on each side and all the external storage features ‘zip garages’ which help stop them from moving about once done up. Internally, there is a large, unsealed, stash pouch on each side, and a pocket for documents. Comfort and fit features include generously sized, zipped, meshlined air vents, that extend from above the arm pit to half way down the torso. There’s a lockable draw cord at the waist. The wrists are elasticated, with adjustable Velcro tabs. Overall, a well-made and practical jacket.
