Snowbee Neoprene Gloves & Socks
- Last updated: 26/01/2017
Snowbee have redefined waterproof gloves and socks with what they refer to as SFT or Seamless Fusion Technology.
A name more usually associated with fly fishing, Snowbee has translated 1mm thick neoprene into a construction that not only provides 100% protection against water but still allows feel and comfort.
Unlike more familiar constructions, Snowbee’s 1mm thick, four way stretch neoprene employs a welded and taped seam technology which completely eliminates the more familiar stitched, thick and often uncomfortable joints. Additionally, the fingers and palms of the gloves are screen printed with silicone ink, the end result being virtually unparalleled levels of feel and hold.
The end results are gloves and socks that not only do away with bulk but dramatically reduce the usual perspiration associated with more conventional neoprene garments. The socks can be worn either over a finer pair of lining socks or underneath conventional boot socks. Similarly the gloves, whilst your hands remain dry the silicone patches provide superb levels of grip on the gun, ammo, knife or binoculars. Ideal for the stalker or wildfowler both of these new Snowbee products should find great favour within any shooters ‘must have’ wet weather kit.
Expect to pay around £22 for the gloves and £23 for the socks.
