Pentagon LCJ Jacket and Wolf Combat trousers

Pentagon offer a wide variety of clothing and accessories, designed for the outdoors and manufactured using technologically advanced fabrics. The LCJ (light cold jacket) is a softshell layer, fitting in the niche between a fleece and a heavy jacket, with the ability to compliment either one. It is insulated and manufactured from 100% polyester including a Storm Tex, breathable and water resistant membrane. It proved warm and effective in wind, light rain and dry snow. Features include a fleece-lined high collar and a chin guard that covers the two-way YKK zip once done up. It comes with elasticated cuffs and cords to adjust the hem. There are three zipped pockets, two external ones for the hands, which include pull tabs and one internal. A water-resistant compression bag is included for easy storage. It is available in black or green sizes XS-4XL.

The Pentagon Wolf combat’s fabric is a Teflon-treated, two-way, mechanical stretch Ripstop, making them extremely hard wearing. There is a Coolmax waist lining to aid temperature control and size can be adjusted using two Velcro straps. The trousers are secured with a button and a PRYM fastening, complimented with eight reinforced belt loops. There are two rear Velcro pockets and two open vertical-types at the front. The construction includes a strengthened area at the rear for a knife with a belt clip. There is an elasticated cord in each one, used to adjust the height of the Cordura knee pad sleeves, which can accommodate strapless or strapped knee-pads. These can be secured in position using the Velcro straps behind the knees.

Below the vertical pocket on each side is a slot for storage and a standard Velcro sealed pouch. To the side of the thigh is an elasticated, low profile design, which expands as it is filled. There is a buttoned top flap and a side zip, which allows alternative access while sitting down. Inside is a key ring loop and two elasticated pouches each large enough for an AR15 magazine. As well as two calf pouches, the hems have a strap to adjust tightness and they also include internal boot hooks, which turns the trousers into gaiters! Available in green, black, coyote and Greek lizard in a wide variety of sizes.

The Pentagon gear is well thought out and built to a high standard. The LCJ can be used with a T-shirt down to say 6°C or -5°C when combined with other layers. The combats are extremely practical and offer great range of motion. Ideal of practical or Civilian Service rifle disciplines. A great choice.
