Steiner Nighthunter

Steiner, famous for their hunting binoculars, have turned their attention to riflescopes. With their many years of experience and considerable skill with optics, Steiner have approached this new venture like the creation of a new business; firstly, they hired a new team of experienced scope designers and set about designing military scopes, paying close attention to the many technical requirements that such serious equipment demands. The Steiner facility in Bayruth, Germany, was then expanded to accommodate the brand new scope production line. Following extensive testing the military scopes were launched and the knowledge and expertise gained was then applied to this new civilian range.

In their first range of rifle scopes they have created a choice of four models, all with 5X magnification range! Renowned for their outstanding build quality, advanced design and technical innovation, Steiner’s Nighthunter Xtreme does not disappoint.

Bright, Sharp Image

Steiner has achieved amazing light transmission thanks to the Diamond-Night-Coating. This gives unprecedented results producing bright, extremely sharp images, even at night. With the added feature of an extremely fine adjustable illuminated red dot, target acquisition is greatly improved. 

Like all Steiner Hunting products, the Nighthunter has been constructed from rugged, scratch resistant materials. The illumination system also has an intelligent auto off function, which is activated when the rifle is in an upright position, or unused for three hours. Other features include Steiner’s Nano Protection coating which gives the lens a dirt and water resistant surface, ensuring clear vision at all times.  The Parallax adjustment system also prevents possible sighting errors, even over long distances.  

All Steiner products maintain their high standards of design and construction, no part of their manufacturing is subcontracted out. These scopes are Nitrogen filled with a rugged, anodized finish that will more than stand up to the challenges caused by shocks, moisture and dirt whilst out hunting.

Models in the Nighthunter Xtreme Series are; 1-5 x 24, 1.6-8 x 42, 2-10 x 50 and 3-15 x 56. The latter two models are most applicable for UK hunting and, although not cheap, provide excellent value for money. The first model to arrive in the UK will be the 3-15 x 56 which has an RRP of £1,600.
