Tier-One Tacrings

Let’s face it, if you have a quality scope and a rifle you should give serious consideration to your rings and mounts. A cut above, are Tier-One’s TacRing sets complete with integral level bubble. They come in four diameters: 30, 34, 36 and 40mm and different heights as to size 30 - 28 & 38mm, 34 – 28 & 38mm, 36 – 30 & 40mm and 40 – 32 & 40mm. All are precisionmanufactured on 5-axis CNC machinery from 7075T6 aluminium, the process minimises the number of operations required for machining, which here is just two, which results in zero accuracy loss due to resetting for different operations. The finish is a smooth, semi-matte black, to a depth of 30 microns. To cope with recoil on heavier calibres and the increasingly larger scopes we seem to use, the rings are 1.025” long and use a 6-screw hold down. The recoil lug in the base that engages with the Picatinny slots is integral to the build and two Torx head bits are included for tightening both rings and bases. They even print the torque setting required on the base; dovetail clamp 4NM (Newton Meters) and upper ring 2NM. They come in a plastic, foam-lined case. The level bubble is positioned low left and, for the ultimate in precision, allows you to ensure the rifle/scope is dead level.
