Jack Pyke are well established in the UK and are known for their wide range of outdoor clothing, footwear, jackets, smocks and accessories, that cover almost all the shooting disciplines. When out stalking, every hunter knows that it is easier and more hygienic to transport a gralloched Roe deer in a suitable bag; so, Jack Pyke have designed their own Roe Sack. It is manufactured from heavy cotton canvas, to make it quiet and light. It weighs just over 1kg and measures 60 x 55cm, giving it an approximate capacity of between 40-50 litres. It features two padded faux leather shoulder straps, that can be adjusted using metal buckles at each end. Both include removable covers to make the sack more comfortable in use, by preventing the metal from pressing against the wearer’s back during use. Internally, there is a removable, wipe clean lining, which attaches to the sack’s opening via a draw cord closer that helps seal everything up, which is a really useful feature, not often found on the lower priced examples. There is a fold over flap that is embossed with the company’s logo, and two front pockets measuring 21 x 18cm, all of which are secured with a buckle and strap. It is available in three colours; fawn, brown and green. Overall, a comfortable, versatile piece of equipment, suitable for the keen hunter.
