Pinewood’s Membrane hunting gloves are ideal for those long cold waits up a high seat or similar static hunting scenario in the cold weather. They are heavily insulated leaving your index finger approximately 25mm in diameter so a ‘snug’ fit in most trigger guards, although a slit is presented in the outer shell through which the lining will push to operate a trigger blade with slightly improved dexterity.
Available in Moss Green and Suede Brown with optional lady’s model, the Gents version shows Medium/ Large sizing or XL/XXL for BIG hands. All seams are taped with plentiful grip available from the rubberised panels on palms and fingers with the glove pulled up snugly with a firm rear strap to lock it in place. Elasticated cuffs rise high up inside your coat sleeves to seal out the weather. The outer will hold some water but not allowing it to soak through, so you can still get the gloves on and off rapidly too, which can become very difficult with some designs of heavier fabric weight. Although thick, you still have decent dexterity for handling and carry items as the soft insulation quickly deforms allowing greater feel for what you are holding onto.
