Holt’s Auctioneers is selling a commemorative 40th anniversary .308WIN bolt-magazine sporting rifle made in 2009 by Warwickshire-based gunmaker RPA International Ltd.
Holt’s Auctioneers’ Chris Beaumont commented that the rifle was especially designed and manufactured to celebrate four decades of world class rifle production: “From an auction house perspective, being able to use the word ‘unique’ in a description is always a real positive as you are telling the market this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to acquire the item in question. This RPA rifle is a great example, they are well known for producing excellent and accurate rifles – but this one, with its very fine walnut custom stock, the gold-plated finish and bespoke leather case and fittings makes it very special – and with the makers guarantee that it will never be reproduced, makes it truly exclusive.”
